Blue Jays sign Brown to Minor League deal

The Blue Jays have signed outfielder Domonic Brown to a Minor League contract with an invitation to Spring Training, the club announced Thursday. Brown, 28, has posted a .246 batting average with 54 home runs and 229 RBIs in 493 games in the Major Leagues.

Toronto options 12-game winner Hutchison

Travis comes off DL, brings bat back to Blue Jays

Toronto activated second baseman Devon Travis from the disabled list and recalled him from his rehab assignment in the Minor Leagues on Friday. Travis, a rookie, is batting .271 with seven home runs this season and missed five weeks on the DL while battling inflammation in his left shoulder.

Dickey goes on bereavement list; Kawasaki called up
