Blue Jays rookie on what he likes most about Canada: ‘The smiling rate is much higher here’

Blue Jays reliever Joe Biagini, who was born in Redwood City, Calif., and made his Major League debut in April, sat down with Sportsnet‘s Jackie Redmond for a hilariously awkward interview.

It’s fantastic. Biagini talks about interpretive dancing and struggles to pick which word describes himself the best.

When asked what his favorite thing about Canada is, Biagini replies:

“I believe that the smiling rate is much higher here than other countries, and that’s something I’m proud to be a part of. I’m working on it.”

Biagini is the best at interviews.
