Friday Trade Rumors Open Thread: Boone Logan?

With the Cashner trade to the Marlins, he's off the board, which is fine, I wasn't hoping the Jays would grab him. I have my doubts that the Jays will be adding a starting pitcher.

It sounds like the Jays are looking for left-handed relief pitchers. There is an obvious need. Jon Morosi says the Jays have discussed Boone Logan from the Rockies. Boone has a 2.48 ERA in 43 games for the Rockies. He's been a total LOOGY, pitching 29 innings. He's allowed 15 hits, 10 walks with 34 strikeouts.

The Met's are rumored to be trying to get Will Smith from the Brewers, I'm sure the Jays will have asked about him.

MLB Trade Rumors lists Fernando Abad (Twins), Zach Duke (White Sox) and Jake McGee (Rockies) in their 'Top 50 Trade Targets'.

Beyond that, I'm sure the Jays wouldn't mind upgrading the depth at catcher, even after signing Erik Kratz.

And there was the rumor that the Nationals asked the Jays about Jose Bautista. I can't imagine anything would happen there.
