The Toronto Blue Jays are still in first place after a sweep of the Minnesota Twins. The Blue Jays bats had a huge series with two comeback wins.

The Jays are in Baltimore for a three game series starting Monday with Estrada, Happ and Sanchez set to start.

The Jays couldn't celebrate much. Mark Polishuk of MLBTradeRumours confirmed the Jays placed Josh Thole on waivers. Thole has been Dickey's personal catcher all season long and is figured to be released then re-signed to be back with the club when the rosters expand.

Joe Biagini is continuing to pitch very well out of the bullpen . Spencer Bingol of Beyond the Boxscore calls Joe Biagini the best Rule 5 pick of the year. Biagini is currently 4-2 with a 2.32. Biagini has thrown 54.1 inning pitched this season and looks like he will be a major part of the playoff roster.

Mike Wilner of Sportsnet covers how players can be eligible for the playoff roster via trades. Many fans questioned this with the acquisition of Dioner Navarro. Navarro will be the backup catcher for the Blue Jays in the playoff push as well.
