Troy Tulowitzki suffered a small fracture in his scapula in a collision with teammate Kevin Pillar on September 12. He returned for the final weekend of the regular season and went 3-for-8 with two doubles in a pair of starts at shortstop, but he’s not completely back to the Tulo of old on the eve of a best-of-five ALDS matchup with the Rangers.

“I’m not pain-free,” said Tulowitzki. “Some soreness in there, as can be expected. But that doesn’t mean I can’t play.”
The 30-year-old was acquired from the Rockies on July 28 and batted just .239/.317/.380 in 41 games for Toronto. He was a .299/.371/.513 hitter in 1.048 total games with Colorado.
