The MLB Wrap Around: Episode #3 Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays entered 2015 with questions about their rotation, unproven youth in their bullpen and two new additions to their daily lineup, Josh Donaldson and Russell Martin.

They managed to survive the loss of Marcus Stroman to a knee injury and Daniel Norris, Dalton Pompey and Miguel Castro due to ineffective performance. Their offense led the league in runs scored (891 runs scored) by 127 runs over the New York Yankees who were second with 764, home runs (232) and OPS (.797).

They made late season trades to acquire David Price from the Detroit Tigers and Troy Tulowitzki from the Colorado Rockies and they won the AL East with a record of 93-69, but lost to the Kansas City Royals in the ALCS.

The Jays head in to 2016 after losing David Price to the division rival Boston Red Sox via free agency and they traded Daniel Norris to Detroit to get Price and young fire baller Miguel Castro to the Rockies for Tulowitzki. This off-season they re-signed Marco Estrada who had a career year in 2015, traded for Jesse Chavez and Drew Storen and signed free agent J.A. Happ.
