Chasing down a foul ball is not an easy task. Doing so in foul territory while worrying about teammates and dealing with pitching mounds and other obstacles makes it an even more difficult task.
Even with that said, this was not Michael Saunders' finest moment.
The mound didn't do Saunders any favors. Yet, it still looked like he would recover. He kept his eye on the ball, slid smoothly, had his glove up and ready to catch then -- doink!
