Benoit gamble indicative of different deadline approach for Blue Jays

Tuesday’s additions of Benoit and Melvin Upton Jr., represent a very different approach to the non-waiver trade deadline for the Blue Jays this year under president Mark Shapiro and general manager Ross Atkins than last year under former GM Alex Anthopoulos.
