Blue Jays call up Rule 5 pick Glenn Sparkman, option Chris Smith
The Toronto Blue Jays have optioned reliever Chris Smith to triple-A Buffalo Friday to make room for Rule 5 pick Glenn Sparkman, who has been reinstated from the disabled list.
