In an at least somewhat surprising move last night, last night the Blue Jays not only tendered Justin Smoak but signed him to a $3.9-million 2016 deal, near doubling MLBTR's projection of what he was in line for through arbitration. I'm not bothered by that gap, as Smoak's unusual circumstance...
