Blue Jays bet big on young, gifted shortstop Orelvis Martinez

After spending the better part of two years scouting Orelvis Martinez, the Blue Jays gave the young shortstop the second-biggest bonus in club history, $3.5 million, when the international free agent period opened on July 2.
