D-Jays' Smith comes up short in no-hit bid
Murphy Smith took a no-hitter into the sixth, tied a career high with 11 strikeouts and settled for a three-hitter Saturday in Dunedin's 5-0 win at Brevard County in the second game of a twinbill.
