Blue Jays’ Tulowitzki confident he’ll avoid DL with thumb issue

Troy Tulowitzki expressed confidence Monday that he’ll be able to avoid the disabled list while the Toronto Blue Jays were hopeful that a day of rest will help Josh Donaldson’s troublesome hamstring.
