In what was likely his second-last start of the season, Francisco Liriano made the case for more turns on the hill. The big left-hander battled through some early wildness – his Achilles Heel – and went six excellent innings as Toronto opened its final homestand of the regular season with a 9-0 laugher over the Yankees.
