Jason Grilli blew the save by serving up two home runs in the top of the ninth inning to surrender the lead, and the Yankees would hold off a big Blue Jays rally in the bottom half to avoid the sweep. Toronto's lead for the top AL wild card spot fell to one game over Baltimore.
