Ex-Blue Jay Michael Saunders, Phillies reach 1-year deal

Former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders on Monday agreed to a one-year, free-agent contract worth a reported $9 million US with the Philadelphia Phillies after hitting .253 with a career-high 24 home runs last season.
