Jose Bautista officially strikes 1-year deal with Blue Jays

After losing Edwin Encarnacion to Cleveland, the Blue Jays retained their other free-agent slugger by signing Jose Bautista to a one-year guaranteed contract worth $18 million US with two mutual option years, the team announced Wednesday.
