Liriano, bullpen carry Blue Jays over Sox

Francisco Liriano tossed 5 1/3 scoreless innings and Darwin Barney had a two-run single as part of a three-run second inning as the Blue Jays topped the Red Sox. Rick Porcello pitched well, allowed three unearned runs in seven innings.
