Pillar apologizes for role in incident vs. Braves

Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar issued an apology on Thursday for his role in a series of incidents during Wednesday's game vs. the Braves. The clubs got into a pair of benches-clearing incidents that were sparked by a heated verbal exchange involving Pillar and a bat flip by Jose Bautista.
