C's avoid 9th inning no-hit bid; fall 6-0 to Hops

The Canadians offense ran into a quartet of Hillsboro arms that just refused to give up much of anything as the Hops took Saturday night's showdown against Vancouver with a 6-0 shutout, allowing just one hit that came in the 9th inning off the bat of Norberto Obeso.
