Blue Jays acquire infielder Solarte

The Blue Jays have acquired infielder Yangervis Solarte from the Padres for prospects Edward Olivares and Jared Carkuff. The switch-hitter comes with three years of control and batted .255/.314/.416 while belting 18 home runs last season.
