Blue Jays draft high-school shortstop; Indians take Canadian catcher

At the 2018 MLB draft, the Tigers took pitcher Casey Mize with the first overall selection, the Blue Jays took shortstop Jordan Groshans who has committed to the University of Kansas, and the first Canadian chosen was catcher Noah Naylor who went to the Indians with the 29th pick.
