Blue Jays acquire pitcher Julian Merryweather to complete Donaldson trade

The 26-year-old right-hander was widely rumoured to be the player coming Toronto’s way at the time of the deal, but was not officially identified because he was injured, missing the 2018 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery in early March.
