Blue Jays’ Encarnacion has record-setting month

Keeping Edwin Encarnacion in the ballpark is just about the toughest assignment an American League pitcher can face these days. The Toronto Blue Jays first baseman has hit for so much power that he’s challenging records set by Mickey Mantle and Barry Bonds. With 16 home runs this month, "EE" tied Mantle for the most home runs hit in May by an AL player, one shy of Bonds’s MLB record.
