Back pain sidelines Blue Jays' Encarnacion

Edwin Encarnacion, as expected, had the day off due to some pain in his lower back. Encarnacion has been feeling it for the past few days and in Wednesday’s victory was removed after the eighth inning. Manager John Gibbons doesn’t think it’s a big deal, that his slugger will have to miss much time.
