Jays Complete a Solid Day One of Drafting

Jeff Hoffman was regarded as one of the best pitchers in this year’s draft class. To make that even clearer, Hoffman had potential to be taken first overall by the Houston Astros and was being noted as a pitcher with dominating stuff. That was until Hoffman underwent Tommy John Surgery, forcing the pitcher out of action until 2015.
