Blue Jays release veteran infielder Santiago

The Blue Jays released veteran infielder Ramon Santiago on Monday afternoon. Santiago is expected to be out for at least another two months with a broken left collarbone. Prior to the injury, he was a favorite to make the 25-man roster as a backup second baseman.
