Toronto tagged Masahiro Tanaka for five runs in the third, capped by Edwin Encarnacion's homer. Drew Hutchison allowed just a Brett Gardner solo shot in his six strong innings, and Devon Travis went deep for his first MLB hit. Alex Rodriguez walked and singled in his first two at-bats.
