Blue Jays acquire Torreyes from Astros
Blue JaysThe Blue Jays acquired shortstop prospect Ronald Torreyes from the Astros on Friday in exchange for cash considerations or a player to be named. Torreyes, a native of Venezuela, has batted .200 for Triple-A Fresno this year but is a .303 hitter over his Minor League career.
