Blue Jays stars Donaldson, Bautista exit Game 1 of ALDS vs. Rangers

Josh Donaldson was removed from Thursday’s ALDS opener in the fifth inning in what the Toronto Blue Jays described as “a precaution” after the third baseman took a knee to the head during a slide at second base. Star outfielder Jose Bautista also left the game early.
