Injury prone Blue Jay Maicer Izturis hangs up cleats
Associated PressToronto Blue Jays infielder Maicer Izturis, who was in camp on a minor league contract, is retiring after 11 major league seasons. In parts of three injury marred seasons in Toronto, the 35-year-old hit .240 with five homers and 33 RBIs.
