Blue Jays acquire Montero on waivers from Seattle

First baseman Jesus Montero was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays on Monday, ending a four-year stint with the Mariners that never panned out after the highly regarded prospect was acquired by trade from the Yankees in 2012.
