In close game, Blue Jays come up inches short

Nomar Mazara hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the eighth and made a game-saving outfield assist in the bottom half of the inning to lead the Rangers over the Blue Jays, 2-1, at Rogers Centre on Monday night, the first meeting between the two teams since last year's American League Division Series.
