Simmons Says: Saunders’ contract negotiations should be interesting

It was early in the first spring of Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins’ tenure with the Blue Jays and the decision was made: They were trading Michael Saunders to the Cincinnati Reds. They wanted Jay Bruce in left field for the Jays, but the deal fell apart at the medical table.
